Flag Etiquette:
Remember, the Union (white stars in a blue field) should always be to the observer's upper left (the flags own right) - whether displayed horizontally or vertically. Exceptions, see On a casket below. Also the union may be on the right when displayed in/on a vehicles passenger's window(right side of vehicle) to show it is "Free Flying".
Take your old flag to the nearest VFW for proper disposal. Never throw it in with the trash.
