ONSET VILLAGE

OBA EVENTS 2005
In Onset Village there's beaches, bluffs and parks all open to the public. From any point in Onset, visitors are within walking distance to the shore. Onset is a quiet seaside village off the beaten path, yet central to everything in Wareham and Cape Cod.

On-I-set Wigwam, Old Onset Fire Station, Shell Point, Onset Bluffs, Onset Pier, Wicket Island, Onset Island, Victorian Homes Along South Boulevard, Porter's Thermometer Museum, Cruises of Cape Cod Canal. Kenny's Salt Water Taffy located near the Town Pier is a landmark eatery. The Bandstand in the park is a fine place to relax and enjoy the summer concerts. There is a food concession available and off-street parking on the pier (fee) and curbside free parking along the beaches.

"Kenny's Salt Water Taffy located near the Town Pier is a landmark eatery."
Kenny's Salt Water Taffy has been around since 1895-ish.. and is a good part of our town history in Onset Village of Wareham. Everything has been and still is made right there at Kenny's. It's nice to go and see a still running place thats been around for so long like the nail factory and such.
